This event aims to be a major conference and exhibition devoted to the field of Networked and Electronic Media (NEM) and ICT at large. It will provide an opportunity to network and share information and viewpoints on R&D status and perspectives in this area. It is organised by the NEM platform, one of the European Industrial Initiatives, also known as Technology Platforms. The NEM Platform is established by key European stakeholders, addressing the convergence of media, communications, consumer electronics, and IT as a wide opportunity for future growth, by taking advantage of generalised broadband access, increased mobility, availability of rich media formats and contents, as well as new home networks and communications platforms.
