- Colombia chooses European digital TV standard

(1 September 2008)Colombia has adopted the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB-T) standard for its digital terrestrial TV. This decision in favour of an open and affordable technology will help to create a vibrant sector full of new interactive content and products, providing a welcome boost to the country's economy and society.
